You may have been asked to monitor your peak flow by one of our doctors or practice nurses. This helps us diagnose some respiratory conditions such as asthma, but also monitor how you are responding to treatment.

Using Your Inhaler
There are lots of different types of inhalers. To get the most benefit from your inhaler you must have a good technique to using your inhaler and use it as advised by your GP or practice nurse.

Children and babies are usually prescribed a spacer device to help them get the most benefit from their inhaler.
